Ashton Sojan - The mopey boy
Ashton sat at the mess hall poking at his green beans. He would usually be all for eating, but he had been lonely lately. Sure he had Baldo, who was currently resting under the table by his feet. But it was all because his dumb boyfriend just had to go on a dumb quest and may or may not get killed by some dumb accident. Ashton hadn't realized he was beginning to raise a few skeletons before he heard Baldo snarl. With another sigh, he let them sink back in the ground.
He decided to eat. It's what he was good at. He realized he hadn't made an offering yet, so he got up and did so. He slid off a price off chicken and decided to simply send a quick hello and thanks to his dad.
After that he sat down and wolfed down some green beans and then some of his salmon. It relaxed him for a few minutes. But then he went back to his mopey state. He sighed once again before tossing Baldo a steak. He watched as the giant dog gobbled the thing up.
Ashton stood from his fathers table and walked onto the small hill it resided on. Sitting down, he waited for Baldo to follow him. His loyal companion soon laid down next to him and let out a few whimpers of his own, feeling his masters emotions as they trickled off of his body. Ashton scratched Baldos ear.
"I know. I'm worrying to much. But can't I have a reason? He's an amazing fighter and an awesome builder, but I worry. Because if he dies, I'll be the first to know. And you know that. That feeling... It's unmistakeable." Ashton talked to his dog/hellhound about his troubles. He often did this, as he was not close to a lot of people.
Suddenly Baldo stood up and snarled as he turned around. Ashton sent a glance back to see some camper walking towards him. Glaring at his dog, he told him to calm down.
